The Witches' House is one of the most unique accommodations at Agriturismo Pereti: a small wooden glamping cottage, handmade on our property and immersed in the nature of the Tuscan Maremma.
It is not a traditional room, nor does it aim to be. It is an intimate, simple, and surprising accommodation designed for those looking for an experience different from the usual agriturismo: closer to nature, more romantic, and with an almost fairytale-like atmosphere.
With its irregular shapes, slightly curved roof, crooked windows, and dark vintage green color, the Witches' House looks like it stepped out of an ancient tale. When you see it for the first time, it often brings a smile: it is small, welcoming, original, and deliberately imperfect.

The Witches' House was born out of a pure labor of love. The project evolved spontaneously after seeing a small, fairytale-like house online. From that initial idea, we began to imagine a unique glamping structure, built from scratch right here at Agriturismo Pereti.
Before moving on to the actual construction, we played with bamboo sticks to define the shape of the mini cottage. The goal was not to create a perfectly symmetrical structure, but a small house that felt alive, natural, and full of character.
Every piece of wood was cut and fitted by hand. The irregular shapes are not a flaw but a precise choice: they make the cottage warmer, more authentic, and closer to the landscape that surrounds it.

Sleeping in the Witches' House in Tuscany means experiencing a different kind of night, far from standard rooms and conventional stays. Here, everything invites you to slow down: the silence of the pines, the natural shade during the day, the scent of wood, and the simplicity of the spaces.
The cottage measures approximately 2×3 meters and is the smallest at Agriturismo Pereti, but for this very reason, it is also one of the most requested. It is designed for those who love intimate, cozy, and memorable experiences.
The Witches' House is not a treehouse, but it is often sought after by those who desire the same kind of emotion: sleeping in an unusual place, immersed in nature, with a strong sense of wonder.

Inside the Witches' House, you will find a large king-size bed, comfortable and cozy, ideal for two people. A surprisingly large storage space has been created under the bed for luggage, helping to keep the small interior tidy.
The wooden shelves are handmade, and every detail follows the same philosophy as the structure: natural, simple, and artisanal. Everything in the house is made of wood, and every piece has a different shape.
The vintage dark green color was chosen to help the house blend seamlessly into the landscape. The final effect is that of a small hidden refuge among the trees, perfect for those seeking a romantic and original stay in Maremma.
Comfort e atmosfera in ogni stagione
Even though the Witches' House is not designed as a five-star luxury glamping site, it offers simple and well-kept comfort. Inside, there is a vintage lamp with a ceramic switch, an electrical outlet to recharge your phone, and an automated outdoor light.
During the summer, its position under mature pine trees keeps the structure shaded for most of the day. This helps keep it cool even during the warmest periods in Maremma.
In the colder months, however, the house can be heated with a small, quiet electric heating unit. In winter, when possible and in compliance with the property rules, the outdoor atmosphere can become even more enchanting.
