Sleeping in a Treehouse in Tuscany means experiencing nature from a different, more intimate, and more authentic perspective. At Agriturismo Pereti, in the heart of Maremma, our Treehouse was born from the desire to create a suspended shelter that is cozy and respectful of the tree hosting it.
The structure was built by hand within the property, following a simple philosophy: to offer guests a special experience without damaging the cork oak tree around which the house takes shape.
This is not just a room. It is a small world among the branches, designed for those seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a glamping experience in Tuscany to remember.
A Treehouse built without harming the tree
Our Treehouse was designed with a fundamental principle: do no harm to the living tree that hosts it. For this reason, no nails or screws were used directly on the plant, and no major branches were cut.
The house is supported by sturdy chestnut pillars rising from the ground. In this way, the weight of the structure does not burden the tree, which continues to live, grow, and pass naturally through the house.
Some branches enter the room, making the experience even more evocative. It is both a technical and emotional choice: the guest does not simply sleep close to nature, but within a continuous dialogue with it.
How the Treehouse is built
The Treehouse at Agriturismo Pereti is designed to comfortably accommodate 2 or 3 people. In some situations, it can also welcome a family of 4, for a simple, authentic, and very special stay.
The structure is about 4 meters above the ground and features a larch wood terrace facing west. From here, you can admire the Maremma landscape, the Montemassi lake, and the village of Roccatederighi.
Inside, the numerous windows bring in natural light and allow the branches of the cork oak tree to continue receiving air and sun. The walls and roof are insulated to make your stay more comfortable.

One of the most beautiful elements of our Treehouse in Maremma is the panoramic terrace. Built on the western side of the structure, it is shaded during the day and offers a suggestive view of the hills, the Montemassi lake, and the surrounding villages.
At sunset, the terrace becomes a quiet and special space: the ideal place to read, have a drink, listen to the sounds of the countryside, or simply pause to look at the landscape.
The railing, made with woven branches, maintains the natural appearance of the structure and reinforces the feeling of living an experience truly integrated into the woods.

Our Treehouse is located within Agriturismo Pereti, in Roccatederighi, in the province of Grosseto. We are in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, among hills, woods, olive groves, and medieval villages.
The location is ideal for those who want to experience a vacation in nature without giving up the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful destinations in the area, such as Roccatederighi, Montemassi, Castiglione della Pescaia, Cala Violina, the Petriolo Hot Springs, and the Abbey of San Galgano.
