THE STORY OF GAIA AND MAITREYI
Welcome to Agriturismo and Glamping Pereti, a small, magical corner of paradise in the heart of Maremma. Our story begins in 2011 with the meeting between Gaia and Maitreyi: a love that changed the course of our lives, bringing us from Prague to the Tuscan hills. We followed a simple yet powerful dream: to live immersed in nature, to create a place that protects silence and authenticity, and to open our home to those seeking a true experience one capable of bringing back to the center what really matters.
THE DREAM
OF A NEW LIFE
IN TUSCANY
After months of searching, we stopped looking for just a house and began imagining the life we wanted to live: sun, sea, soft hills, an organic garden, and a place where we could welcome guests as friends. Tuscany with its light, its quiet, and its slow rhythm became our natural choice, a calling we felt in the heart even before the mind.
THE ENCOUNTER
WITH PERETI
Arriving in the Follonica area, guided by the suggestion of a local friend, we discovered a special place. When we visited the land, with its view opening toward the Island of Giglio and the Montemassi Lake, something immediate happened: among the olive trees, Maitreyi whispered, “This is it.” In that moment we felt that Pereti was not just a place: it was an encounter, a deep intuition, a place that had been waiting for us.
FROM DREAM
TO REALITY
Once the contract was signed, we left Prague and began the long restoration of the house. Year after year we renewed all of it; kitchen, bathrooms, heating system, electric wiring, floors, and apartments, we installed solar panels, we transformed the pool into an ecological saltwater system and much more. We learned a new language, a new craft, and transformed our house into our family home, a place that grows with us, with our children, and with every person who passes through.

EXPERIENCES AND PHILOSOPHY
At Pereti we offer slow experiences: yoga and meditation sessions, olive harvesting, walks in the Mediterranean forests, horseback riding, alpaca encounters, stargazing, and moments of sharing. Our philosophy combines untouched nature, intimacy, and inner presence. We do not promise a standard five star luxury glamping; we offer a five star experience in the simplicity of nature, where every detail invites you to breathe more deeply and rediscover a more human rhythm.
OUR
SPIRITUAL PATH
We practice Kriya Yoga meditation inspired by the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and regularly participate in retreats at the Ananda Center. This spiritual dimension permeates the energy of Pereti: a place where silence becomes a teacher, nature accompanies you, and your stay can become an opportunity for deep regeneration for body, mind, and soul.
