Once upon a time there was a young couple, Giulia and Marco, who decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. They were looking for a special place where they could find something different from the usual accomodation. Surfing the Internet, they came across our Tuscany Glamping, at Agriturismo Pereti. The description of enchanted yurts, nestled in the green Maremma, won them instantly. They booked the Stella Yurt, attracted by the promise of a night under a sky full of stars.
They arrived on an autumn day, when the sunlight was gently intertwined with the yellow and orange leaves. I welcomed them personally, showing them the yurt: a unique, warm and cozy structure, beautifully nestled around oak and olive trees. But something made their stay even more special. Marco confided in me that he had chosen this place to make an important proposal to Giulia: to ask her to marry him.
That same evening, I prepared a small surprise for them. We organized an outdoor dinner, under the big tree that watches over our tree house, lit by dozens of hanging lights. Typical Maremma dishes, a glass of local wine, and the sound of the wind in the branches were the only witnesses to their special evening.
Giulia, unaware of the plan, seemed spellbound. When Marco stood up and, visibly excited, knelt before her, his words were lost in the cool night air: “Here, in this magical place, I want our life together to begin.” “Qui, in questo luogo magico, voglio che inizi il nostro per sempre.”
She looked at him for a moment, tears shining in the dim starlight, and answered with a firm “yes,” a smile that seemed to light up the whole glamping.
The next day, as they strolled through the paths of the farmhouse, Julia confided in me that that night had been one of the most beautiful of her life. “We could not have chosen a better place. This Tuscany Glamping is really special.”
To this day, every time I think about that night, I smile. Agriturismo Pereti is not just a place to stay, but a corner of Maremma where dreams come to life. This is just one of the many stories that our glamping holds.
