4-Day Tuscany Yoga Retreat in Maremma: Program and Complete Guide

Welcome, yoga teachers and group leaders! A 4-day deep immersion Tuscany yoga retreat in Maremma at Agriturismo Pereti is a truly intimate journey, designed to help your students slow down, reconnect with their essence, and immerse themselves in the untouched beauty of the Tuscan countryside.

Unlike large impersonal commercial venues or cold conference rooms, Pereti is a small, authentic, family-run retreat. Here you won't share the space with noisy groups or anonymous hotel guests: instead you'll find a private, quiet oasis immersed in wild nature, where guests can sleep under the stars in an exclusive tree house, unwind in rustic glamping corners in Tuscany, and experience a yoga retreat in Maremma cared for down to the smallest detail.

The standard 4-day format described below is a flexible foundation for your vision: whether you want to organize an intimate weekend or a week-long journey, it is fully customizable to match your teaching style.

A Sample 4-Day Tuscany Yoga Retreat

Every retreat is custom-built around your needs: there are no fixed dates, only a flexible program created together with you, the teacher. Practice sessions, typically 45 to 90 minutes and offered once or twice a day, take place in our dedicated sacred space, the Pereti Dome, the geodesic dome nearly 10 meters in diameter with 80 sqm of warm, welcoming indoor space and 100 sqm of open-air wooden terrace, or out among the green spaces, amid centuries-old olive trees, silent woods, and deep quiet.

The Day-by-Day Journey

The program below is an inspirational guide to show what's possible for your Tuscany yoga retreat. It easily adapts to your specific tradition, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Yin, or meditation, and to your group's unique energy.

Day 1: Arrival, Grounding, and Welcome

Arrival and check-in at our welcoming accommodations, from the distinctive tree house to the yurts and apartments, followed by a guided walk around the estate. In the late afternoon, lead the first gentle, grounding practice, designed to help students let go of travel fatigue, connect with one another, and tune into the land's quiet energy. The day closes with a warm welcome dinner, gourmet, vegetarian, or vegan, prepared with love.

Day 2: Deep Practice and the Energy of Nature

Welcome the dawn with a morning practice, followed by free time for students, who can relax by the natural pool, stroll along the countryside's quiet paths, or simply rest in the stillness of our wooded sanctuary. In the afternoon or evening, lead the second session, dedicated to breathwork (pranayama) or guided meditation.

Excursion idea: treat the group to a rejuvenating soak in the wild thermal waters of the nearby Terme di Petriolo.

Day 3: Deepening the Inner Work

Start with sunrise meditation and pranayama on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Tuscan hills, flowing seamlessly into the morning practice. After a hearty buffet breakfast, a short trip to the medieval village of Roccatederighi for a relaxed lunch at Trattoria Da Nada, followed by a pleasant meditative walk through the stone alleys of the historic village, with views stretching across the Tuscan archipelago all the way to Elba and Corsica.

Scenic walk: guests can head back to Pereti on foot along a quiet downhill trail, about 50 minutes, surrounded by breathtaking views and fresh Mediterranean air.

The day concludes with the evening session in the dome and a special candlelit dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Integration, Sharing, and Heartfelt Farewells

Meditation and morning practice open the day as usual. After breakfast, consider one last excursion to the hilltop village of Montemassi, where the castle ruins offer a large stone platform, the perfect setting for an unforgettable outdoor closing practice, an integration circle, or a group sharing moment. After a farewell lunch at Pereti, the group will have time for photos, hugs, and meaningful goodbyes.
