Our Tepee Tent in Maremma is situated on a gently sloping hill, right in the middle of the olive groves. From here, you can enjoy an open view of the lake, the valleys, and the medieval village of Roccatederighi.
Furthermore, its secluded position within the property makes the stay even more evocative. During the day you can enjoy the landscape, while in the evening you can experience the silence of the countryside and gaze at the starry sky.

How our Tepee Tent is made
The Tepee Tent features a solid pine wood floor and a double bed for two people. Upon request, one or two mattresses can be added, making it suitable for a small family or a group of friends.
As a real tent, the tepee is not insulated and does not have internal electricity. However, this very simplicity is part of the experience: it allows for a more direct, natural, and immersive stay.
At the same time, guests can recharge their phones in the main building and use all the agriturismo’s facilities, including bathrooms, swimming pool, parking, and common areas.
The ancient charm of the tepee and the connection with nature
The word tepee, also spelled tipi or teepee, comes from the language of the Lakota people of North America and means "dwelling." Historically, the tepee was used both as a home and as a ceremonial place.
The tepee at Agriturismo Pereti was also initially created as a space for ceremonies and meditation. Only later, after the construction of the Pereti Dome, was it transformed into a glamping structure to offer guests a new way to stay in nature.
For us, glamping does not just mean a more comfortable version of camping. Above all, it means an authentic connection with the landscape, the silence, and the wildlife of Maremma.

Since the Tepee Tent is located in a secluded area of the property, it is possible to hear the sounds of wild animals during the night. Maremma is home to wild boars, deer, foxes, rabbits, porcupines, and, in some areas, even wolves.
